Senior UX / UI Designer & Product Designer
I have 10+ years of experience creating user-centered design solutions for digital products. I've had the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from mobile apps to complex web platforms. As the Head of UX at Aprende Institute and Manager of UX at Televisa Digital, I led a talented team of designers, writers, product designers and researchers, guiding our projects from conception to completion.
I believe that good design is invisible because it feels natural and effortless. I always strive for the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and enjoyable.
In my role, I regularly presented our UX strategies and results to the company's C-level executives, and was actively involved in annual, quarterly, and monthly planning sessions to ensure alignment with our business goals.
At Aprende Institute, we faced a major problem: low user engagement. After several meetings, metric reviews, and discussions, we discovered that one of the problems was with the dashboard. Specifically, it had several heuristic and navigation issues that made it not very useful.
Although Aprende has a referral program section, it may not generate sufficient monthly revenue. To increase revenue, we need to understand the motivations and needs of our users.
Frequently, performance problems are closely related to the UX and UI. However, it can be complicated to address the problem if one does not understand how the UX and UI affect performance.
Improve the user experience on the Content Type Article to increase the time our users spend on the site, this project impact to multiple sites of Televisa, principally TUDN and Las Estrellas.
